The actress says that at the time she was working as a headhunter, when she decided to accept a role in The Fires of Love. A role for which she says she was not paid well enough, and above all that she hid from her clients at the time. “I was great as a headhunter, and I didn’t get paid enough for my acting job. So I continued both my work and The Young and the Restless.” she explains, before adding: “I hid being in The Young and the Restless from my clients, because, you know, who wants a dumb actress to work for them?.

Revelations that are not to the taste of Victor Newman, alias Eric Braeden, who took very badly the words of Eva Longoria, who according to him denigrates the genre of soap opera. In a post on Twitter, he therefore attacked the actress, with violence: “You weren’t good enough as an actress to survive the pressure of this medium! You were lucky to be in this “housewife” series.” A first attack, which he continues by showing the importance of soap operas in the careers of actresses and actors: “Our actresses are much better than you! And they succeeded! Of robert de niro, or whoever they are, many greats started on this medium that you denigrate! This shows a complete lack of class!”. A violent response, to which the actress has not yet responded, but which shows the annoyance of the actor, who is ready to defend the series at all costs. An answer worthy of Victor Newman!
