Eric Bailly has left Manchester United to join Turkish club Besiktas permanently.
The 29-year-old Côte d’Ivoire defender has made 113 appearances for United since joining from Villarreal in 2016.
Bai was former manager José Mourinho’s first signing. On his United debut, he won the Community Shield in a 2–1 win over Leicester City at Wembley and was named Player of the Match.
Later that season, he won an EFL Cup winners medal as a starter in a 3–2 win over Southampton at Wembley.
In addition, the final against Ajax held in Stockholm did not play due to suspension, but played a decisive role in winning the Europa League in the 2016/17 season. Bye

He was named in the UEFA Europa League Team of the Season.
Bay’s first goal for United came early next season, in a 4-0 away win over Swansea City in August 2017.
