Eric Amponsah joins the technical team of Berekum Chelsea in Ghana. He was appointed as the club’s goalkeeping coach.
The arrival of the Ghanaian technician has been confirmed by the club without any details on the conditions of his recruitment. “Goalkeeping coach Eric Amponsah joins Berekum Chelsea Fc,” club officials said in a statement. The 40-year-old coach will join other members of Berekum Chelsea’s technical staff to lead the club to success for the 2023-2024 campaign which is coming up in a few weeks. Berekum Chelsea finished 7th in the Ghana Premier League table last season.
Prior to being appointed by his new employer, Eric Amponsah served as Hearts of Oak goalkeeper coach between 2020 and 2021.
