Erhürman: CTP will initiate action process

Reminding that they and two independent deputies demanded an extraordinary meeting of the Assembly of the Republic, Erhürman noted that the meeting did not take place because the government did not come to the Assembly, and rebelled against this attitude of the government wing.
Noting that they will petition again for the extraordinary meeting to be held on Thursday, Erhürman said, “I want to explain why we needed such a meeting.”

Erhürman said, “Our country is facing the most critical economic crisis, and its purchasing power is faltering.”

Emphasizing that especially young people are going through a period where the right to life is denied, Erhürman pointed out that the economic depression was very devastating.
Reminding that they have been talking about the necessity of population policy as the CTP for a while, Erhürman said, “However, we see that those who call themselves the government do not move a finger. They don’t even bother with it.”

Erhürman continued his words as follows:
“Our purchasing power has dropped and we are in a situation where we cannot buy a house, pay rent, or buy a car. Apart from these, we have citizens who cannot even meet their daily needs from the market. While all this is happening, a structure that is busy with a chair game and acts with the question of “what will I be”. The word congress is pronounced, ministers and undersecretaries change during the most troubled period of the country, but these are never the agenda of the citizens.

“Our purchasing power is decreasing, but prices are not decreasing”
Emphasizing that prices did not decrease despite the decrease in purchasing power, Erhürman drew attention to the increase in the foreign population in the country.
Erhürman said, “We can’t buy a house, but the house prices don’t fall, because there are a lot of foreigners who buy it. Likewise, there are a lot of foreigners who rent, buy cars and shop in the markets. We are not only getting poorer, we are being ignored, we are experiencing extinction. We are ineffective in terms of the market. Our There are students from 40 different countries in our schools, our prison is the same. Security has become the most important problem in this country. Crime has increased, criminals have increased. We have become unable to receive service from hospitals, we cannot provide education to children, traffic is not suitable for removing the population in the environment. Population growth has increased both it destroys us in the market and we are dragged into chaos.

“As CTP, we are preparing a new law”
Emphasizing that the ownership structure in the country is rapidly changing hands, Erhürman explained that as CTP, they are working on a law to determine an upper limit for foreigners to acquire property.

“Now is the time to say ‘enough’… We are entering a new activism process”
In the continuation of his speech, Erhürman evaluated the developments in KIB-TEK, Ercan and Eastern Mediterranean University and said, “It is said that there is no money, but the money is channeled to certain places. This structure is not sustainable. We’re going extinct. The country has become uninhabitable. The only problem of your friends is who will be the minister and who will be the party chairman. That’s why we persistently called the Assembly to a meeting. Now is the time to say ‘enough’. CTP or not. After that, a new activism process will be on the agenda,” he said.
