Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin tomorrow, Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Cullen was quoted as saying by NTV.
“This war must stop immediately and there must be a return to the negotiating table,” Cullen told NTV. He said Turkey and the Turkish president are pursuing very active diplomacy. Cullen said Erdogan would talk to Putin tomorrow and told him a meeting could be held in Turkey.
According to Cullen, Erdogan will call for a chance for a truce and the creation of a humanitarian corridor. He will say that if this war continues, it will be a great catastrophe for Russia, Ukraine and the whole region, BTA reported.
