Direct speech: “Putin can fly to Turkey on April 27 for the opening ceremony (NPP – ed.) or take part in the ceremony online.”

Reference. Türkiye has not ratified the Rome Statute and therefore does not recognize the decision of the International Criminal Court. In the event of a visit by Vladimir Putin, Turkish law enforcement officers will not be obliged to comply with the decision of the ICC, which issued a warrant for the arrest of the Russian president.
