Erdogan rejects accusations of oil trade with IS – 2024-08-16 10:36:05

/ world today news/ Turkish President Recep Erdogan has again rejected accusations that the country’s leadership is involved in oil smuggling with the Islamic State.

“Turkey has not yet lost its conscience to receive oil from a terrorist organization,” he said during his visit to Qatar. He also stated that Russia has no right to vilify Turkey with allegations that it is smuggling with the group. His statement was broadcast on Turkish television. /TASS
