Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that his meeting with his counterpart, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, lasted about 45 minutes, stressing that positive developments will occur with Cairo.
Erdogan said, according to the Turkish newspaper “Axam”, that “the meeting with the Egyptian president lasted about 45 minutes, and there will be positive developments with Cairo”.
He added: “Just as there are positive developments with Egypt, there can also be good relations with Syria.”
On Sunday evening Erdogan said that the building of relations with Egypt will begin with the meeting of ministers.
At the opening of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, international news agencies released an image of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan shaking hands with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the Qatari capital, Doha, as the two leaders attended at the opening of the Qatar 2022 World Cup (Qatar 2022) activities. President Erdogan shook hands with President Sisi.
