Erdogan furious at the attack, appeals to Greece

The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan with a strong reaction after the attack on a police station in the city of Mersin. Late at night, two women linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party opened fire on law enforcement and later committed suicide with IEDs. One policeman was killed and another was seriously injured.

The case became an occasion for President Erdogan to accuse Europe, and Greece in particular, of hosting terrorists.
