As announced, the police have strictly controlled the corona rules. Most of them stick to it. On the other hand, the number of cases continues to rise sharply. There are already 30 Covid patients in the clinic.
Erding – The stricter Corona-G rules only help if they are monitored. Since the weekend, the police have been increasingly active in the catering and club scene. According to the police headquarters of Upper Bavaria North, 78 controls have been carried out with the health department in the Erding district since Thursday. A violation was discovered in only one case. Across the presidium, there were 680 controls with 55 complaints, which corresponds to a share of just over eight percent, according to a spokesman. As a rule, the officials encountered a great deal of understanding from the operators. The intensified surveillance will continue.
The pandemic situation remains tense – the health department has reported 232 new infections since Saturday (see page 2). The Robert Koch Institute gives the incidence as 694.8 (Sunday: 773.3). Here, however, there is likely to be a delay in reporting.
The situation at the clinic remains tense. There are still five Covid patients in the intensive care unit between the ages of 45 and 80 who all have to be artificially ventilated. However, the number of cases in the isolation ward rises to 30. Spokeswoman Daniela Fritzen announced that from now on all patient forums and information evenings for parents-to-be will again only be offered digitally.
Nine schools and daycare centers are now affected by quarantine: 21 children from the Hörlkofen children’s home, 20 from the St. Wolfgang elementary school, 18 from the AWO children’s home and the Rosengarten children’s home, both in Pastetten, 16 from the Wartenberg parish children’s home, eleven from the Ludwig-Simmet primary school. Anger in Altenerding, six from the Zwergerlhaus Berglern and one student each from the Dorfen grammar school and the Heilig Blut girls’ secondary school in Erding.
Fritzen again points out that since Saturday free antigen rapid tests have been available again for all citizens at the municipal test centers in Dorfen and Erding. In addition, breastfeeding women, pregnant women and people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons received free PCR tests until further notice.
The district office reminds of legal changes that come into force this Tuesday. 2G also applies to hotels and restaurants. The 3G plus rule applies to body-hugging services such as visits to the hairdresser. 2G and 3G are now associated with a mask requirement. Exceptions are the catering on the site and all locations where the minimum distance can be maintained.
Since the hospital traffic light is red, masks must also be worn in discos and clubs. Unless the organizers choose 2G-plus, i.e. vaccinated or recovered and tested. Visitors to clinics and nursing homes must present a current negative rapid test every time they enter. ham
