Equally Rise, Cheaper Where is Pertamina’s BBM Price with Shell’s? page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – World crude oil prices continue to creep up, along with the increasingly heated conflict between Russia and Ukraine. World crude oil prices have even touched the level of 110 US dollars per barrel.

This condition forced the fuel oil distribution business entity (BBM) to adjust the price of the product. In Indonesia alone, two business entities distributing BBM, Pertamina and Shell has officially adjusted a number of its BBM types.

After adjusting fuel price on 12 February, Shell Indonesia again raised the price of fuel on March 1, 2022. The increase occurred in various types of Shell fuel, with an increase of Rp. 480 – Rp. 1,240 per liter compared to the position of February 1, 2022.

Following Shell, Pertamina has also officially increased the price of some of its fuel starting today, Thursday (3/3/2022). The price increase occurred in Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex fuel types.

Meanwhile, the price of subsidized fuel, Pertalite, did not change. Likewise with the price of Pertamax fuel, it still refers to the previous provisions.

Determination Pertamina fuel price 2022 refers to the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Basic Price Formula in Calculation of the Retail Selling Price for General Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Fuels that are Channeled through Public Fuel Filling Stations.

The increase in the price of non-subsidized fuel varies in each region or province, ranging from Rp. 500 to Rp. 1,100 per liter. As in the DKI Jakarta area, the Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) increased from Rp. 13,500 per liter to Rp. 14,500 per liter.

Then the Dexlite with Cetane Number (CN 51) increased from Rp 12,150 per liter to Rp 12,950 per liter, and Pertamina Dex (CN 53) increased from Rp 13,200 per liter to Rp 13,700 per liter.

– Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) IDR 14,500 per liter

– Dexlite (CN 51) Rp 12,950 per litre

– Pertamina Dex (CN 53) IDR 13,700 per liter

Shell

– Shell Super (RON 92) Rp 12.990 per liter

– Shell V-Power (RON 95) Rp 14.500 per liter

– Shell V-Power Diesel (CN 51) Rp 13.750 per liter

– Shell V-power Nitro+ (RON 98) Rp 14.990 per liter
