Peru and Colombia tied 1-1 in an intense match for the seventh date of the South American Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup – United States, Mexico and Canada 2026, played this Friday at the National Stadium in Lima.
The Peruvian team opened the scoring with a goal by full-back Alexander Callens in the 68th minute, but Colombia tied the score with a goal by forward Luis Díaz in the 82nd minute.
With this result, Peru remains last in the standings with 3 points, while Colombia remained in third place now with 13 points.
On the eighth date, scheduled for this Tuesday, September 10, Peru will visit Ecuador in Quito and Colombia will host Argentina in Barranquilla.
