Amiens 0-3 Angers
Winners in the Somme on the ice of the Coliseum (3-0), the Dukes of Angers have a seventh success in a row in all competitions against the Gothics of Amiens. From the first seconds of the match, Tommy Giroux on an assist from Philippe Halley deceives Henry Corentin Buysse to launch the Angevins perfectly. The Canadian striker then scored a brace at the start of the second half to make the break. The best scorer in the Dukes’ squad, Philippe Halley, will finally succeed his compatriot to reduce the hopes of their former team. The duo struck again and allowed Angers to seek their 19th victory of the season.
Grenoble 5-2 Mulhouse
The Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble make their debut in the year 2022 with a success against the Scorpions de Mulhouse (5-2). An evening where the French players will have shone, namely Damien Fleury and Dylan Fabre. In the first ten minutes of the game, the league’s leading scorer scored twice before handing over to his 21-year-old partner. The native of Grenoble then widened the gap to 3-0 and will shine again twice in the second period, despite Jonathan Lessard’s double for the Mulhouses. Thanks to his two achievements, Damien Fleury reached the bar of 45 points this season (20 goals, 25 assists). Dylan Fabre has 24 points (16 goals, 8 assists).
Bordeaux 1-6 Rouen
The Rouen Dragons get their revenge against the Bordeaux Boxers after their elimination in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. And in the most beautiful way by scoring six away goals. Rouen’s best scorer, David Gilbert, stands out after ten minutes of play to unlock the scoreboard. Returning from the locker room, Joel Caron comes to take the break in Mériadeck, but the Bordelais will react thanks to François Paquin. A goal that will not doubt Fabrice Lhenry and his players. Before the half hour, David Gilbert will reply for the Dragons, followed by Andrew Johnstone, Jordan Hervé and finally Joris Bedin. A complicated evening for the Boxers who suffered their sixth setback in the league. Rouen, consolidates its place on the podium.
Cergy-Pontoise 5-4 Anglet
In the final meeting, the Cergy-Pontoise Jokers won against Hormadi Anglet, but were scared at the end of the match. Tuuka Rajamaki opened the scoring despite everything after only 24 seconds of play, relayed by a goal from Louis Petit in power play. The American Dennis Kearney will then be the author of the third goal for Cergy-Pontains, but the Basques will be determined to come back to score. Before Dennis Kearney’s double at the end of the second period, Elias Karvonen will open the counter for Hormadi. If David Dostal’s men will make the Ile-de-France residents doubt through Peter Hrehorcak, Anton Vasilev and a new achievement by Elias Karvonen, they will not succeed in bringing down the Jokers who will rely on Ryan Tait in the last third time. In pain, Cergy-Pontoise therefore takes the three points at the end of the suspense and takes fourth place.
