The epiphany cross in Sozopol broke into two parts.
Initially, the cross was saved by 31-year-old Stanislav Hristov from Sozopol, who for another year participated in the Jordan Day traditions. While the man was swimming to save the cross, it broke in two and one half managed to catch Nikola Bobchev as well. The two men decide that they should give the Holy Cross to the smallest participant.
This is 13-year-old Petar Petrov from Plovdiv, who attended the celebration in Sozopol with his father especially for the ritual. 26 people jumped to save the Holy Cross in Sozopol, BNT reported.
