Epidemiologists Remind Recovering from Covid-19 Does Not Mean Really Healed

WARTAKOTALIVE, JAKARTA – People who are declared recovered from Covid-19 but having comorbidities (comorbid), still have to be aware of the impact that the Corona Virus will cause.

Australian Griffith University epidemiologist Dicky Budiman said, many people do not understand about the impact Covid-19 post-tested negative after undergoing a period of treatment.

“First, it must be understood that this Covid, although we already know quite a lot about Covid, it is still incomplete, right?”

“Not complete (information obtained) about this Covid disease.”

“One of them is how the impact is, what is called recovery like,” said Dicky to Tribunnews, Friday (7/5/2021).

Those who have mild symptoms and even people without symptoms (OTG) have the potential to feel the impact on organs, especially important organs such as the lungs and heart.

“What is clear, in people with mild or no symptoms, it turns out that there is organ damage, especially in the lungs and heart,” said Dicky.

Especially when someone is suffering Covid-19 or have otherwise recovered this, since its inception comorbid which is located in these two organs, such as tuberculosis, asthma and heart disease.

Although the impact of damage can occur in other organs, what needs to be watched out for are these two main organs.
