Now the numbers have dropped to units of a thousand cases, so the fluctuations are more noticeable. They will be affected by any local focus. “Every fifty extra cases, for example, can be seen more,” says Hana Tkadlecová from the Zlín Vaccination Center.
According to the doctor, the relaxation of the measures, which the government started on Thursday, December 3, could not yet be reflected in the statistics. “The current rise in the numbers is definitely not due to a breakdown last Thursday, which he has not yet been able to take part in,” she said, expecting to see repeated fluctuations in daily gains in the coming weeks without any apparent reason.
According to Hana Tkadlecová, the results are distorted by the fact that statisticians began to include people who tested positive for antigen tests.
