Epic has officially warned players about the missing inventory bug. Interestingly, compensation is being prepared.
Bugs are an integral part of all games, including Fortnite. The latest bug with one of the emotes causes all inventory to disappear. This applies as much to Save the World as to Battle Royale, although in BR the consequences are less.
Epic has officially confirmed that players will receive some compensation, but it is not known what exactly it will be.
What is the error?
It turns out that using the built-in Wolverine emote causes the inventory to disappear. In Battle Royale mode, specific items, such as Wolverine Gloves, are disappearing. How does it look like?

Wolverine’s integrated emote can delete weapons from your inventory. Please do not use it during the match. We will soon compensate for this inconvenience.
The most interesting part, of course, is “we will compensate for this inconvenience”. Will it be a V-Dolce, or maybe some free cosmetic item, or just a bug fix? Unfortunately, it is not known.
If in the following hours you see an update to Fortnite weighing a few, several dozen MB, it will probably just fix this one specific bug.
