13.06 Clarey is 11th at 2 ″ 35. Now the American Travis Ganong.

13.04 At the moment Paris would be first in the specialty ranking with 316 points, followed by Kilde and Feuz at 305.

13.03 The Austrian Daniel Hemetsberger is 8th at 1 ″ 80. Now the 41-year-old Frenchman Johann Clarey.

13.03 Dominik Paris resists in third position. It would be a platinum podium!

13.01 SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII !!! Odermatt is 4th, he remains behind Paris for only 2 cents! Very important considering the Downhill World Cup! Finally some luck on this difficult morning. Odermatt is therefore fourth at 0.46 from Kriechmayr, who is close to winning at this point.

13.00 Odermatt pays 6 tenths to the fourth intermediate. Let’s hope he ends up behind Paris, it would be fundamental. But he is recovering, 0.48 to the fifth set.

12.59 Absurd Odermatt at the Kernen-S, exits at 81.9 km / h! It is very fast, even if on the third reading it is 0.47 behind.

12.59 Only 7 hundredths of a delay for Odermatt at the first intermediate, 0.23 per second.

12.57 The top 10 fell: Kriechmayr in command with 0.34 on Feuz and 0.44 on Paris. Recall that the blue was 7 tenths behind from Feuz after the Kernen-S, in the final he was superb. Now watch out for Marco Odermatt, the Swiss can win.

12.56 Innerhofer is seventh at 1 ″ 85. Even today he made us dream about half the track, then he made a lot of mistakes. Is the match being held good for the Olympics?

12.55 The blue Kernen-S is very bad, which throws the race away: it pays 1 ″ 01 on the third detection. What a pity.

12.54 Innerh leads 0.17, but is wrong at the Hundschopf and is behind 0.10 at the second intermediate.

12.53 Kilde is sixth at 0.98, excellent news for Paris in terms of descent ranking. Now we want a flash from Christof Innerhofer! We believe it, and you?

12.53 Bad today Kilde, loses 1 ″ 13 in the fourth intermediate.

12.52 Not good Kilde at Kernen-S, she is 91 cents behind!

12.52 Kilde is behind 34 cents per second detection.

12.51 The Frenchman Matthieu Bailet is last at 3 ″ 23. Now favorite # 1: Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is hunting for an encore after yesterday’s victory.

12.48 VINCENT KRIECHMAYR IN COMMAND! 34 cents ahead of Feuz! It won’t be easy to beat the Austrian, but the race is long. However, if we want to see the glass half full, Dominik Paris could have limited the damage in terms of specialty ranking.

12.47 Kriechmayr enchants at Kernen-S, at the third intermediate he is only one cent behind.

12.47 Dominik Paris’s comeback from the Wasserstation at the finish was epochal: from 70 cents late to 10. He trimmed 6 tenths in Feuz.

12.45 The German Dominik Schwaiger is 5th at 1 ″ 95. It’s up to the Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr.

12.44 Paris lost the race in two points: at the entrance to the Hundschopf, where he braked a lot and jumped little, and then as usual at the Kernen-S, where he went out at 77 km / h against almost 80 km / h h of Feuz.

12.43 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! Paris is second for only 10 cents! What bitterness! He recovered 6 tenths in Feuz in the lower part. Below he skied very well, the bitterness is great.

12.42 Nothing to do, we are not really there. Already 7 tenths of a delay after the Kernen-S.

12.40 Bravo Cater: the Slovenian limits the damage and is 3rd at 32 cents. Now Dominik Paris. He doesn’t like the Lauberhorn, but he has to try to tame it. Let’s believe it!

12.38 Feuz in the lead with 17 cents on Mayer. Podium test, will it be enough to win? Let’s hope not, of course… Now the Slovenian Martin Cater.

12.37 And in fact Feuz is behind by a cent at the fourth detection. Inaccuracy on the Hanneggschuss.

12.36 Well, but not very well the Kernen-S, Feuz ahead of 0.22 on the third detection.

12.36 Feuz ahead of 0.33 in the first intermediate and 0.11 in the second. Now take the Minschkante.

12.35 Baumann had done very well in super-G on Thursday (fourth), but in the downhill he didn’t understand much: he closes at 1 ″ 88 from Mayer. Now the Swiss Beat Feuz, who wants to win after being beaten yesterday by Kilde and Odermatt.

12.33 Immediately 0.26 ahead for the Teutonic at the first detection, but he loses a lot at the Hundschopf and is behind by 0.63 per second.

12.32 It is the longest descent of the World Cup. Matthias Mayer closes in 2’26 ″ 60. Good performance, but in our opinion beatable. Now the German Romed Baumann.

12.31 Below 80 km / h Mayer’s exit from the Kernen-S.

12.30 The Lauberhorn descent with the Austrian Matthias Mayer has begun!

12.29 Matthias Mayer is ready at the starting gate. 40,000 spectators in Wengen, without masks.

12.26 Here we are, a few minutes to the great show of the Lauberhorn. Even today the conditions are ideal, clear skies and no clouds.

12.24 The first forerunner has thrown open the gate! We are running out, in five minutes it will be serious!

12.21 Today the Swiss Carlo Janka (bib 16) will end his brilliant career on the home snow! The thirty-five-year-old from Obersaxen was able to win an Olympic gold in giant at Vancouver 2010 and a world title, again in giant, in the 2009 world championship in Val d’Isère.

12.12 Marco Odermatt seems to have no rivals in the general: Kilde chases at minus 376, Matthias Mayer’s 478 points are instead.

12.09 In the specialty classification the Scandinavian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde leads with a margin of 12 points over the Austrian Matthias Mayer and 13 points over our “Dommen”. The games are therefore very open.

12.07 Italy, for its part, continues its march towards the Olympic event relying on its sprinters to collect important placings and thus expand the number of boxes available for Beijing. At the moment only seven athletes would be called: even today we need results of weight.

12.04 The Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde got the better of the undisputed World Cup leader Marco Odermatt 24 hours ago and wants to repeat the victory to consolidate the red bib. Local idol Beat Feuz, third yesterday, can also play the leading role.

12.01 Hello and welcome friends of OA Sport to the LIVE TEXTUAL LIVE of the second downhill in Wengen! The jet men are called upon to tackle the Lauberhorn again after yesterday’s shortened track test, Dominik Paris will attempt the assault on success on a slope that has never seen him triumph before.

LIVE LIVE OF THE DESCENT OF ZAUCHENSEE FROM 10.45

THE START-LIST OF THE DESCENT OF WENGEN

Program, times and tv of the descent – The World Cup rankingThe chronicle of the first descent

Hello friends of OA Sport and welcome to LIVE LIVE of the second men’s downhill in Wengen (Switzerland) valid for the Alpine Ski World Cup 2021-2022. On the mythological Lauberhorn the “Jet Men” are hunting for great success, after yesterday’s debut, won by Aleksander Aamodt Kilde.

Today’s race will start at 12.30 and will represent the real descent of Wengen, that is the one in its full length. Yesterday, in fact, a smaller version was run. Not today. Today we don’t mess around. What can we expect from the second fast race on the Lauberhorn? We will see the encore of Alexander Aamodt Source?

The Norwegian, of course, will start with the gallons of favorite, but will have to beware of numerous rivals. First and foremost the number one hosts, Marco Odermatt, extraordinary according to yesterday. Surely the first very long stretch of sliding will not favor the leader of the general classification but, as he is demonstrating race after race, never bet with the native of Bouchs. We will also try to understand if Dominic Paris he will be able to redeem himself after yesterday’s ninth place, on a track where he has never won. Attention, of course, also to Matthias Mayer, Beat Feuz and Vincent Kriechmayr, entered into the race by the FIS even though he had never taken part in one of the two scheduled downhill tests.

The second descent of Wengen will start at 12.30. OA Sport offers you the LIVE LIVE critta of the event, so as not to miss even a second of the Lauberhorn show.
