In Epic’s dispute against Apple because of the game Fortnite Judge on Friday Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers decided on an interim measurethat Apple has the right to block Fortnite in the App store because Epic violated the rules. Conversely, Apple may not block the use of Unreal Engine in other applications or block the Epic developer account.
The whole dispute will probably come to court, only the previously quarreling parties would agree. Both Epic and Apple expressed satisfaction with the interim measure.
