Epic Achievements, Epic Games’ proprietary Achievement system, will be officially rolled out starting next week. From then on, players on the platform will be able to get started with challenges in a handful of games, which will be expanded later.

It system will award players experience points that are divided into four categories: bronze, silver, gold and – how could it be – platinum.
At launch, they will be available in Rocket League, Hades, Pillars of Eternity, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Zombie Army 4, and Alan Wake Remastered. These titles will have a special Epic Achievement page detailing the progress of all challenges and the ability to share them with others. Also, all challenges to be achieved will be displayed on the relevant game page of the Epic Games Store. Epic already started the rollout of the Achievement system in July last year, but then especially for developers. They were able to experiment with the system in the game they were developing. The version that will be rolled out next week has been improved and looks more like similar systems from other platforms.
