Epic games became a publisher, along with which it announced a partnership with three prominent independent developers:
- Remedy – creators of Max Payne, Alan Wake, Control
- Playdead – creators of Limbo, Inside
- genDESIGN – creators of Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian.
The new publisher under the laconic name of Epic Games Publishing provides complete creative freedom to developers, and also allows you to save intellectual property rights.
At the same time, Epic will cover up to 100% of the costs of the game, including marketing and localization. The profit is divided in half between the developers and the publisher.
In the morning it became known that Remedy, together with a new partner, that is, Epic Games, working on two games one franchise – one large budget, and the other has a more modest scale. Both projects will be released both on new generation consoles and on PC. –
