Epic Games makes free crossplay SDK available for community sharing with Steam – Gaming – News

I have a lot of questions about this @YannickSpinner
A) So if you play on Steam but the developers prefer to use EGS (also), an EGS account is automatically created?
If A) is correct, are you also explicitly asked for permission? Is anything already known about this? And if you don’t agree to it, can you still just play a game or will this be pushed down your throat via the EULA?
C) Does Epic (already) have a license from Steam to take over this private data?
D) Has this already been submitted to the respective supervisors as a draft?
E) If there is no permission for this (by eg the Californian law, or the EU GDPR), does this mean that one way or another it can only be rolled out per region? Or does this mean no passage at all?
F) How is the security of the silently created account guaranteed? Do you get the option to create a password yourself, or does Epic create one for you? Do you receive an email that the account has been created? Can you put 2FA/MFA on it?
