It’s Christmas Eve and celebrating at the Epic Store! The holiday sale is in full swing there, and Epic is giving away free games every day. What game is given away is always a surprise and can only be claimed for 24 hours, but once claimed the game will stay in your library forever. However, Epic hints at what may be the free game of the day in the form of a silhouette. Today’s tip was accompanied by a spoiler from Epic itself. Today’s free game is nothing short of Stranding of death via Hideo Kojima!
In Death Stranding you play Sam Bridges, a courier who has to deliver packages between different outposts in a desolate America. This is more exciting and dangerous than it sounds: America has become an inhospitable country where hardly anyone ventures to the surface. There were i beached things around: aliens who want to kill people. Bridges can gradually connect the different outposts (called NODES) by repairing roads and collaborating with other players.
