British gaming media Eurogamer reported on the 9th (local time) that Donald Mustard, Epic Games’ Fortnite president and chief creative officer (COO), announced his retirement after 25 years in the gaming industry.
Donald Mustard is the co-founder of Chair Entertainment, which developed Shadow Complex and Infinity Blade. When Chair Entertainment was acquired by Epic Games in 2008, he became a member of Epic Games and was appointed Chief Creative Officer in 2016.
“After an incredible adventure, I am stepping down as Chief Creative Officer of Epic Games,” said Donald Mustard in a statement. “I have had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the most talented people in the gaming industry for nearly 25 years, and I am incredibly proud of what we have created together.” He said.
