Epic Games advises owners of an iOS device that they have the game Fortnite if they update to iOS 14. They can no longer install the app afterwards, the company said on Wednesday Twitter know.
By default, Apple asks if a user wants to temporarily delete apps if a device doesn’t have enough space for an iOS update. That can cause the system Fortnite deleted.
Since the game can no longer be downloaded from the App Store, it is impossible to reinstall the app afterwards. The iOS 14 operating system has been available for download since last week.
Apple removed the app in August as Epic Games tried to bypass Apple’s payment system through its own internal store. Apple charges up to 30 percent commission on digital purchases through the App Store. Epic Games disagrees.
