Turkish actress Ephrem Alasya expressed her rejection of her country’s decision to mourn because of what is happening in Gaza, as the showing of acting episodes was canceled in addition to the cancellation of the launch ceremony of series for one of the platforms.
Ephrem said on her personal account on the social networking site: “More than 50,000 people had died due to the earthquake. Have you seen an Arab country that declared mourning?”
Ephrem Alassia’s speech met with great controversy among followers on social media, as they disagreed with her opinion, pointing out that she was racist.
