Thiruvananthapuram | State committee member P Jayarajan brought serious financial charges against LDF convener EP Jayarajan. E. P. Jayarajan is alleged to have acquired property illegally. The allegation was made during the state committee meeting held on Thursday. The State Secretary of the CPM, MV Govindan, has requested that a complaint be filed for investigation into the matter.
P Jayarajan has accused EP Jayarajan of committing millions in corruption by hiding a private company called Kannur Ayurveda Medical Care Limited. A company called Kannur Ayurveda Limited was established in 2014 at an address near Jayarajan’s home in Kannur. The company run by EP Jayarajan’s wife and son are alleged to be the directors of the resort. P Jayarajan said the allegations are made on the basis of documents. He has called for an investigation into the incident and action should be taken. EP Jayarajan did not participate in the state committee. Responding to discussions in the state committee, the secretary of state clarified that the allegation would be investigated if a written complaint was filed.
