Jakarta, CNNI Indonesia —
Apparently Enzo Fernandez wrote a touching message of support Lionel Messi who had decided to retire from the national team Argentina.
Fernandez, who was voted best young player at the 2022 World Cup, reportedly wrote a message of support for Messi on his social media. That moment occurred when Messi decided to resign from the Argentina national team in 2016.
Fernandez later joined in to give his thoughts on Messi’s decision to retire from the Argentina international. According to Fernandez, Messi lost the joy of playing football while he was wearing his Argentina kit.
“Do what you want Lionel, but please think about survival. Hold on for fun, one thing that was taken from you.”
“In a world full of pressure, they take something very important out of the game. A joy,” Fernandez said on his social media account, quoted by BR Soccer.
Fernandez also hopes Messi will continue to play for Argentina.
“As a kid, maybe you dream of representing your country and playing happily.”
“Seeing you play for Albiceleste is the greatest pride in the world. Play to be happy because when you play happily, we don’t know what joy we will get,” said Fernandez.
Fernandez’s wish has come true. Messi finally corrected his words to retire and return to the Argentina national team uniform.
Fernandez even then stood out and successfully got into the squad of Argentina and played under Messi. The two then worked together to guide the Albiceleste to victory in the 2022 World Cup.
