In Indonesia, the small car Suzuki Karimun Wagon R has been ‘deadly injected’ or no longer produced. However, Suzuki in Japan introduced the latest Wagon R which looks more handsome.
Suzuki Motor Corporation has just introduced the Wagon R Custoom Z. This tiny car will go on sale starting August 30 next.
Suzuki Wagon R in Japan is also more sophisticated with dual camera brake support. The system which is a safety feature will detect pedestrians at night.

Other safety features include side airbags in the front seats, curtain airbags, adaptive cruise control with speed tracking function (ACC), and lane departure control. Wagon R also features Suzuki Connect, an audio display with an omnidirectional monitor.
This Suzuki Wagon R Custom Z has a more sporty appearance than other variants of the Wagon R in Japan. This car adopts specially designed LED headlights. Grille and front bumper look more handsome. Plus chrome accents on the fascia.
Turning to the side, the sporty impression of the Suzuki Wagon R Custom Z comes from the wheels. This tiny car has alloy wheels measuring 15 inches.
In the interior, the sporty impression is not left behind. The cabin of this car is dominated by black from the seats, door trim to the dashboard.

The latest Suzuki Wagon R is equipped with automatic air conditioning, a keyless push-start system, and heating for the driver’s seat. In addition, the USB power socket [Tipe-A / Tipe-C] also become standard equipment.
In Japan, the Suzuki Wagon R plays in the kei car class. As a kei car, the Wagon R has a 660 cc engine. There are two options, non-turbo and turbo. The turbo version produces 64 PS of power with a maximum torque of 98 Nm. While the non-turbo power is 49 PS with a maximum torque of 58 Nm. The engine comes with mild hybrid technology. Power is channeled through a CVT transmission. There are also two-wheel and four-wheel drive options.
The Suzuki Wagon R Custom Z is sold from 1,474,000 yen to 1,756,700 yen (around Rp. 163.9 million-Rp. 195.4 million).
