“Apart from the local impacts on wildlife and health that Project One would cause, we cannot ignore the fact that the foundation of this project will be fossil fuels, which will be used to make the building blocks of plastics.”
Due to the possible cross-border pollution that Project One will cause, the Dutch province of Zeeland had also previously appealed against the approval of the permit for the project.
