Law enforcement agencies in Milan are investigating the incident with the postal correspondence to the Pope. Postal clerks intercepted a letter addressed to the Pontiff, which contained three bullets, reports ABC News.
The suspicious envelope was intercepted by postal workers at night at a sorting plant in the suburbs of Milan. It was sent from France.
Handwritten on the envelope was: “To the Pope, Vatican, St. Peter’s Square, Rome.”
The message contained three bullets, presumably intended for a pistol. Also in the letter was a message regarding financial transactions in the Vatican.
The investigation is ongoing. The Vatican has yet to comment.
It was previously reported that Pope meets Spider-Man… A man, disguised as a comic book character, visits children in hospitals. In the same suit, he came to the pontiff and asked for prayer for the little patients. Spider-Man turned out to be 27-year-old Mattia Villardita, who was awarded by Italian President Sergio Mattarella for his work in children’s hospitals.
Let’s add, The Vatican has declassified its property to the world… According to a 30-page document, the Vatican owns 4,051 properties in Italy and about 1,120 properties abroad, not including Vatican embassies around the world.
