Entry of women at Sabarimala; Aishwarya Rajesh says menstruation does not disturb any god

Actress Aishwarya Rajesh says no god would be uncomfortable with women entering temples during menstruation. Aishwarya was responding at a press conference related to the film The Great Indian Kitchen, which was remade from Malayalam to Tamil. There is no difference between male and female in God’s eyes. Likewise, women’s lives are not meant to end in the kitchen, but to showcase their talents.

No deity will be disturbed if menstruating women enter the temple. Those are just laws made by humans. No god has told us what we should eat and what we should do. God has no distinction between men and women. No god has set any criteria for people to reach the temple. These are all man made rules. Not just Sabarimala, God has no objection to women entering any temple, Aishwarya said.

The actress’s response was on the issue related to women’s entry into Sabarimala. In a part of the film Great Indian Kitchen, women’s entry into Sabarimala and postponement of menstruation were also discussed.
