Entry into the Czech Republic was allowed from a number of countries – what is needed to cross the border

It will be possible to travel between the Czech Republic and Hungary, Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia from May 31 after receiving the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. From Tuesday, July 1, vaccinated people from Israel, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea will be able to visit the country.

According to the minister, this is the opening of standard tourism. Certificates for tourists from these seven countries will also be recognized. They may be needed to visit certain establishments opened in the Czech Republic, Vojtech explained.

Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek in Twitter said later that vaccinated people from Israel, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea will also be able to visit the country and use tourism and services.

At the same time, entry is allowed for persons with at least 22 days after the first dose of the vaccine from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland and Slovakia.

The conditions of arrival in the Czech Republic are regulated by the so-called traveler’s card, the update of which is to be issued today by the country’s Ministry of Health.
