The Thai government has announced that it has lifted entry restrictions on the new krone that were to be introduced from January 9 today.
Originally a vaccination certificate had to be presented to enter the country and unvaccinated people had to be tested on arrival, but these measures have been withdrawn. However, passengers from countries such as China and India are required to purchase travel insurance.
Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Anutin announced today at the ceremony that Chinese tourists will resume acceptance at Suvarnabhumi Airport, and after all, travelers from Japan will be able to enter Thailand without restrictions as before.
