Entrepreneurs’ organization Unizo warns against too few charging stations | drive

Figures from Statistics Flanders show that more than 1,500 charging points for electric cars were added last year, an increase of 35 percent. The counter now stands at 5,798 charging points.

But at this rate, Unizo CEO Danny Van Assche warns, we will “never have enough charging points in time to respond quickly to the accelerating electrification of our fleet”.

In concrete terms, the ambition of 30,000 charging points by 2025 will not be achieved, expects the business organization, which is urging the government to install charging points more quickly.
