Xinhua News Agency, Kunming, November 2 (Xinhua) The 11th Yuntai Conference Theme Day event was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province on the 2nd. Song Tao, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, held discussions and exchanges with representatives of Taiwanese businessmen attending the event in Kunming. He said that General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the common glory and the common mission of all Chinese people. The mainland of the motherland sincerely welcomes Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese businessmen to invest and start businesses in the mainland and participate in cross-strait integrated development. Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, including ethnic minority entrepreneurs, discuss integrated development, which is a vivid reflection of the fact that both sides of the Taiwan Strait share the same roots and blood is thicker than water. Qin Ronghua, a Taiwanese businessman present at the meeting and chairman of the board of directors of Minshi Group, said that Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese enterprises have benefited from cross-strait economic exchanges and cooperation and the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.
