Xinhua News Agency, Kunming, November 2 (Xinhua) The 11th Yuntai Conference Theme Day event was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province on the 2nd. Song Tao, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, held discussions and exchanges with representatives of Taiwanese businessmen attending the event in Kunming. He said that General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the common glory and the common mission of all Chinese people. The mainland of the motherland sincerely welcomes Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese businessmen to invest and start businesses in the mainland and participate in cross-strait integrated development. This will create more favorable conditions for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises to integrate into the new development pattern and participate in high-quality development. Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, including ethnic minority entrepreneurs, discuss integrated development, which is a vivid reflection of the fact that both sides of the Taiwan Strait share the same roots and blood is thicker than water.
