The Great Hall of the Civil School University Cultural Center hosted the Tiger Tank grand finale with the participation of nine teams of entrepreneurs who presented their proposals for innovative products and technologies.

The 2024 call established that the projects had to be linked to one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030 of the HIMas well as applying solutions with the Industry 4.0 and the evidence of the entrepreneurship maturity.

Xignux Challenge Debuts
For their part, researchers from the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Agronomy were winners of the Xignux Challenge category, with their project called Recy-protein.
They devised a patented technique, unique in the world, in which they take the barley residue and separate it into two parts. He 60 percent It becomes a semi-solid designed as a protein supplement for human consumption, while the rest becomes food for goats, with a result of zero leftovers thanks to its circular economy scheme.
