SAN PEDRO SULA, HONDURAS.- Yankel Rosenthal He returned to Honduras on Monday after serving a sentence of more than two years in a prison in Miami, United States.
The businessman arrived in San Pedro Sula in the afternoon on a flight from Miami, which landed shortly thereafter at the air terminal Ramón Villeda Morales.
Yankel He was convicted in January 2018 by the federal judge John G. Koeltl, to two years and five months of imprisonment.

The sampedrano had pleaded guilty in August 2017 of attempting to carry out monetary transactions with goods derived from drug trafficking crimes, following the accusation of the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York.
Capture
The businessman was captured at the Miami International Airport on October 6, 2015 and subsequently sent to New York for his respective trial.
The accusation also included other family members, including former deputy Yani Rosenthal Hidalgo, who will also regain his freedom in August this year, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons of the United States.
