“Entrepreneur Raises Funds for NHS Through Premixed Cocktail Business During Lockdown”

Natasha Durling, the Irish-born founder and CEO of Total Management Group, was grounded by the pandemic with little prospects of business picking up. In an effort to stay busy, and give back to those on the frontline, she made premixed cocktails for friends. In the process, she raised funds for the NHS.

Like many others, Natasha Durling turned to drink during lockdown, but not as a salve, but as a solution. Durling and her husband, Jack, a former professional rugby player, made premixed cocktails for friends in an effort to stay busy and give back to those on the frontline of the pandemic. In the process, they raised funds for the National Health Service (NHS).

Durling is the founder and CEO of Total Management Group, an event, travel, and creative agency with offices in the UK and New York. She found herself grounded by the pandemic with little prospects of business picking up. Eager to stay busy, she and her husband, Jack, began experimenting with premixed cocktails.

Their efforts gave birth to their start-up, Tommy’s Mixers, which takes its name from the couple’s dog. They started out by making batches of premixed cocktails for friends, family, and neighbours using ingredients sourced from around their local area in East London. The response was so positive that they decided to launch a business.

The cocktails are sold in 500ml bottles and can be served directly over ice or mixed with soda. The couple currently offers six flavours, including the Tommy’s Margarita and the Tommy’s Espresso Martini. They use natural and fresh ingredients and offer vegan and gluten-free options. They are available to purchase online and through various grocery stores and online retailers.

Tommy’s Mixers is not just a business but also a way for Durling to support healthcare workers on the frontline of the pandemic. They donate a portion of their profits to a COVID-19 relief fund for the NHS and have already raised over £7,000 in donations.

Durling is no stranger to entrepreneurship. She founded Total Management Group in 2000, which has offices in the UK and New York. The company provides event, travel, and creative services to a variety of high-profile clients in the music, fashion, and film industries.

Durling’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through in her latest venture, as does her commitment to giving back. Tommy’s Mixers not only offers a delicious product but also supports those working tirelessly to keep us healthy during the pandemic.
