Police are still investigating the case of the death of a woman with the initial S (51) found died from a gunshot wound in a luxurious house in Panti Indah Kapuk, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The police revealed that the victim gave a signal before being found dead at his home.
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan initially revealed that there were digital traces on cellphones at the crime scene (TKP). This digital footprint is being investigated by digital forensic experts.
“There are digital traces left behind, but we have to check properly. Later on, a comprehensive investigation will take place,” explained Gidion when contacted detikcomFriday (10/2/2023).
Gidion did not explain in detail about the problem digital footprint the. However, he said, the digital footprint gives a signal to someone.
“He signaled something and complained,” he said.
Kombes Gidion dismissed that the complaint was related to debts.
“If there is no debt, there is no debt story,” he added.
Killed by Gunshot Wounds
The police revealed that victim S died from a gunshot wound to his left chest. Beside the victim a gun was found.
“On the left chest, not in the stomach. There were residents who heard gunshots,” North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan, told reporters in North Jakarta, reported BetweenThursday (9/2/2023).
Gidion said the victim was found in a room with the door locked from the inside. A gun was found next to the victim.
Even so, the police could not determine the cause of the incident is suicide. Police are still investigating what happened to the victim.
