In a different and tough year, and after a long time without returning to music, Marbelle returned in 2020 to do what she does best: sing with her wonderful voice.
It was with Addicted to Pain, a song she released before the pandemic began and which, as she puts it, “brought me back to music on the right foot.” His friend Pipe Bueno helped him with the composition, as well as other musicians of different tendencies.
He has spent the year making presentations via streaming, going back to the times when “one recorded the programs with Jorge Barón“, He says. Technology has helped with its new possibilities to bring it closer to people, “to have an audience that is in distant countries and they love you, as well as people from distant parts of the country, and that is wonderful,” he says.
And although, as he adds, “we really need the closeness of the public”, He decided that it was time to thank people for that affection with ‘Entre nos’, the concert that he will give on December 26 with Pipe Bueno, at 9 pm, Colombian time, with ticket sales on Eticket.co.
“Everything that has happened this year led us to rethink the scale of priorities and It was left to be ‘between us’, between us, to gather as a family, to be more aware of those we love. It was a year that told us not to make so many plans, but this concert we were able to make it happen”Says Marbelle.
The so-called ‘Reina de la tecnocarrilera will give away rancheras and popular music, with their hits included, such as Pearl Necklace. She and Bueno will be accompanied by about 30 musicians, including the Mariachi Clásico Contemporáneo, by Ricardo Torres, one of the best in the country.
“I will pay tribute to the Mexican Yolanda del Río, who with her songs raised the voice of women when they could not raise it so much, that is her plus, that is her merit. The good thing is that here there is now a phenomenon of female singers who have more empowerment ”.
And Pipe Bueno, outdated by his new job as a father, speaks with great emotion about this facet: “It is the best thing that God has given me. When you are a father, you learn to be a better son and priorities change because that baby depends on you. My son came to empower my life”.
His passion for popular music, he adds, began with a song by Luis Alberto Posada, You take me and you leave me, “who sang it from the heart of a love disappointment that he was living at school”, dice.
For Bueno, he will sing his greatest hits at the concert, such as Cupid failed, You notice and You had gone before, among others, that popular music has taken root in the culture represents us as a country. Marbelle confirms it. “Those stigmas that it was the worst thing, the cheapest thing, that you had to look at it over your shoulder and that it was in bad taste were over. I, for example, am also a fan of reggaeton, but as long as there are horns and love pains, and they continue to break our hearts, keep pouring salt into the wound, popular music will be there”.
And Marbelle and Pipe Bueno, who will also make songs together at the concert, are here to ratify it in their ‘Entre nos’ on December 26.
