Entire region: branches of the Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau also open in the new lockdown – precautions and measures have been taken at all locations to protect the health of customers and employees

The current pandemic situation and the framework conditions of the renewed lockdown mentioned by the government on the weekend also require a reassessment of the situation in the systemically relevant area of ​​financial service providers. The Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau faces the challenge of guaranteeing the security of supply for people and companies in the region. At the same time, however, the need for protection of customers and employees must also be kept in mind.

All currently open locations will remain open to deal with urgent issues even during the new lockdown. An exception is the Oberwiehre office in the ZO shopping center, which is open from December 16. closed due to corona. Precautions and measures to protect the health of customers and employees have been taken at all locations. The self-service devices remain in operation at all locations.

Today, proximity to customers is no longer a question of distance. As in the first lockdown, all customers are asked to carry out their banking transactions preferably online, via the banking app or homepage or by phone, and thus reduce personal contacts. An appointment should be made by telephone for important consultation issues. The Sparkasse’s Customer Service Center has had its staff expanded over the past few months and is available by phone Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the central number 0761 / 215-0.

The innovative range of video advice is now available via a digital advice center. Comfortably and securely from home, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., comprehensive advice on all banking topics is provided via video chat. Access and information on this can be found on the homepage www.sparkasse-freiburg.de, as can registration for online banking or opening a current account digitally. This offer will continue to be available after the Corona period.
