Enthusiasts prepared a video in which they showed the difference in performance of video cards of the same level, but of different generations, on specific games. The video was posted on the Testing Games YouTube channel.
As a stand, a PC with an Intel Core i9-13900K processor and 32 GB of RAM was used. Testing was carried out on mid-range graphics cards from NVIDIA. The least productive of them is the GeForce 1070 Ti, which was released in 2017. The most powerful is the current 4070 Ti.
Depending on the game, the frame rate varied by three to four times. The authors of the video tested video cards in seven titles: Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Forza Horizon 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
