ZA large number of visitors gathered in Furth for the traditional village festival.
Numerous visitors stormed the small, idyllic spiritual community. The open air disco on the village square was already full of high-spirited party guests. The varied program with the Furth traditional costume band and the Enzian folk dance group conveyed a cozy, homely atmosphere, with the “plucked” Matthias Trumler particularly causing a stir at the “Hupfauf Plattler”.
Even the little ones got their money’s worth with the climbing wall, soccer darts, gingerbread decorating and much more.
The chairman of the Triestingtal water pipeline association, Franz Gartner, was awarded the gold badge of honor for his many years of service to the community of Furth. He was also congratulated by Councilor Richard Wanzenböck, District Governor Verena Sonnleitner, State Parliament Member Christoph Kainz (ÖVP), Mayor Alois Riegler (ÖVP), Deputy Mayor Natascha Partl (ÖVP), Pottenstein Mayor Daniel Pongratz (SPÖ), Weissenbach Mayor Johann Miedl (ÖVP), the Berndorf city councilor Birgitta Haltmeyer (ÖVP), architect Michael Maurer, former mayor Franz Seewald (ÖVP) and the managing director of Vienna Woods Tourism Michael Wollinger.
