Humor was on the agenda on Friday March 10 at the Bernard Fabre cultural space (read Midi Libre on March 6). Marcus’ new single-stage performer, Really nicedirected by Charles Meurisse, and the sample, in the first part, of the first show of the young Nîmes Mano, Freewheeling, swept away some 150 spectators in a whirlwind of social themes and current affairs with biting and provocative humour, both liberating and thought-provoking.
“A snub to social issues, to this world that finds excuses… You are not short-sighted, it is the world that is blurry”, indicated Gérard Jimenez, municipal councilor, member of the culture commission. And, the room vibrated to the rhythm of public participation and bursts of laughter.
