The 2023 SBS Entertainment Grand Prize was Tak Jae-hoon.
Tak Jae-hoon received the honor of the grand prize at the ‘2023 SBS Entertainment Awards’, which was broadcast live from 8:35 pm at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 30th.
On this day, the winner of the 2023 Entertainment Awards was Tak Jae-hoon.
Tak Jae-hoon opened his speech by saying thank you for the wonderful award.
He added, “Actually, what I was thinking until yesterday was that it wouldn’t be strange if one of the many people from ‘My Little Old Boy’, the many people from ‘Single For Men’, and the people here received this award.”
And Tak Jae-hoon said, “So actually, I didn’t prepare a separate acceptance speech. I just sat there with my mind blank and had fun enjoying the entertainment awards.”
In addition, he said, “For a while, I was teased a lot by my colleagues about the grand prize. Wouldn’t it be more fun not to win the grand prize? That’s how the program will survive. My brother was teased and said, ‘If you want it to last, you shouldn’t win the award. I also had fun filming it,'” he said. Referred to a practical joke.
Tak Jae-hoon expressed his gratitude to the production team and staff of ‘My Little Old Boy’ and ‘Single for Men’.
And he said, “More than anything, I think my mom, who is watching the live broadcast right now, will like it,” with tears in her eyes.
Tak Jae-hoon continued, “It has been 30 years since I made my solo debut at Deungchon-dong Hall in 1994 at the age of 27, and it has been 30 years since I received such a big award from SBS. Thank you again. Thank you to all those who supported me and my colleagues who came out here. I thank you,” he said.
Lastly, he drew attention by expressing his gratitude to his daughter and son, saying, “Thank you to Soyul and Yudan.”
