MEDAN, iNews.id – Provincial Health Office North Sumatra (North Sumatra) asks residents to be aware of cases dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). This is because the territory of North Sumatra entered rainy season causing a lot of puddles.
“We hope that during this rainy season, let’s clean our environment from mosquito larvae,” said Head of the North Sumatra Health Service Ismail Lubis, Sunday (11/14/2021).
Ismail admitted, indeed for dengue fever, recently there has been no significant increase in cases. However, currently there have been several cases of DHF.
Ismail said to confirm the diagnosis of DHF, of course, an IgM antibody examination must be carried out to determine the status of the disease. He asked, if there are people affected by dengue fever not to hesitate to report it to the Health Service.
“So that later we can do fooging so that dengue fever in one environment does not spread,” he said.
