KOMPAS.com – Vivo X80 “regular” and Vivo X80 Pro officially launched in the Indonesian market, through a launch event held on Tuesday (26/7/2022).
As the successor to the Vivo X70 which was launched in September 2021, the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro come with mainstay features and specifications from the camera sector and the chip used.
According to Vivo Indonesia Product Manager, Hadie Mandala, the improvement in the camera sector is the most important DNA of Vivo X-series phones. So that it can add a new experience for users in capturing every meaningful moment.
“Through the Vivo X80 series, we (Vivo) present the latest innovations in the camera department. Not only describing the results cinematicbut also provides a new experience in capturing every meaningful moment of you (the user) with just one touch,” said Hadie, Tuesday (26/7/2022).

For example, the Vivo X80 series has camera support features, such as Zeiss Cinematic Video Bokeh and Zeiss Cinematic Style Bokeh lenses, which are claimed to be able to produce bokeh videos with a wider aspect ratio.
As for other camera support features, there are AI Video Enhancement which can adjust the light while improving the quality of images taken at night, OIS System, eight cinematic colors, time-lapse feature, and “Pro Cinematic” focus mode.
Meanwhile, in terms of hardwareVivo X80 series relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip for the “Pro” version, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 for the “regular” version.
Each chip will be combined with Vivo’s own chip, namely Vivo V1 Plus. The goal is to improve device performance such as when playing games, and support technology imaging or image processing on the Vivo X80 series.

Vivo claims that the combination of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Vivo V1 + chips can boost CPU performance by up to 10 percent, compared to the previous series.
