So it will go to school from now on, at least for the first months of the next school year until virus it can no longer hurt anyone. The ministry of education has prepared a draft protocol for safety, with the initiatives to be put in place to guarantee everyone a safe return. THE LINES
The general lines are however traced: the school staff must constantly monitor compliance with the safety regulations and the exteriors, including parents, will not be able to enter the buildings. The little ones will probably be exempted. The morning will begin with the entry into the school buildings which will be controlled and limited: in fact, the classes, still to be decided if complete or half at home and half at a distance, will have to enter one at a time with intervals every 15 minutes. In this way, the entry and exit procedures will be longer but it will be easier to guarantee the spacing, avoiding that the kids crowd in the corridors and that, outside, there will be gatherings of boys and parents.
At the entrance, every day, body temperature will also be measured to anyone who enters school, students and school staff, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Once you have crossed the threshold, at the set time and after having undergone the thermal scanner, you can go to the class, however, following protected and obligatory routes within the institutes: to avoid crossings and possible contacts with other classes or other components of the school , it may also happen that the path is not the shortest. In fact, it must be the safest one.
THE SPACES
Once in class, the students will each sit at its single desk and spaced apart, the schools will have to organize themselves in this sense to ensure that the spaces are there. At the moment it seems very difficult. When children and teachers will instead have to access common areas, such as the school entrance hall or the gym, school staff will have to make sure that the area has had adequate ventilation and that the safety distance between the people present is respected.
In terms of cleaning, the protocol provides for constant monitoring and continuous sanitization of all school environments, with greater attention to those common and shared by all children, namely the canteen, which will be organized by spacing the seats at the table, the gym and the bathrooms which, during class hours, must be cleaned several times. It will also be necessary to provide specific rules for the return of Covid-19 healed students or teachers.
