Municipalities water supply: More protection against climate change

The Structure and Approval Directorate (SGD) North is campaigning for better protection of the public water supply due to the increasing drought. The long-term goal is that every water extraction has a redundancy, said Joachim Gerke, head of the water management department at the state authority, on Thursday of the German Press Agency in Mainz. There should no longer be isolated solutions where one location is only supplied by one system.
